Ericka Dunlap

Ericka Dunlap was Miss America 2004 and was the first African American woman to be top Miss Florida. She became an associate of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. In 2004 she was crowned Miss America becoming the fifth African American woman to grasp the title. Dunlap's platform was "United We Stand, alienated We Fall Behind: Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion." Dunlap appeared on the The Oprah Winfrey Show, Hollywood Squares; Live with Regis and Kelly, and Fox News’ The O'Reilly Factor. She also serve up as Grand Marshal of a NASCAR race. She also visits the troops in Kuwait, which was her first trip abroad. Dunlap is at present pursuing a career in country music. She married Brian Kleinschmidt on February 18, 2007, and appears with him on the 15th payment of the television series The Amazing Race. They finished in third place.
